Reading through this thread is insane because it shows over a decade of game dev tools changing. It just brought me back, mentally, to when I was starting and GameMaker was still respected and loved, and I see some other names I have not seen in a very long time.

Anyway, currently I use Godot, Aseprite, FL Studio, and normally thats all I need.
