As fun as this is, it takes ages for new stuff to appear and mess around with (it's all the same like 3 items for me, a floppy disc, token things, and mail, with a very rare new one in between which is annoying because i'd like to see everything this desktop pet can do), which, would be solved by the force spawning of items. And yet, that requires some password that quite frankly I cannot be bothered to look for myself, because from what I'm seeing it's a quote from Ozymandias that also has a word or two CHANGED in it. Which, trying to find is an unreasonably difficult task? The hint I got for it mentions changing it based on who is saying the quote but I have no clue who Fen even is (note I have since realized thats one of the developers and that I'm an idiot for not seeing that), and nobody has outright said it either. I think the riddle is a fun gimmick on its own, but i also think it should probably give a better hint here, or should have the password in the settings in like a toggleable hidden state along with said hint, that way the people who do want the riddle can still get it, while the people who just want to mess around and see what this little pet can do don't have to search on twitter for a mere hint on what the altered quote is supposed to be.
Hey thanks for taking the time to give feedback on the spawn rates! We do have plans to up those given performance has been stable for the most part across the downloads from what I can see!
As for the password, that is a Dev tool that I left in to let people who wanted to figure it out, could. Ill be transparent, there is no gameplay there other than some vague hints to have it solved. I have realized this is a mistake and will be updating the "puzzle" to be solved through an organic way as it seems a TON of people enjoy that as a real puzzle. Sorry for the trouble friend!
