I may have gummed something up
All the skins/items/characters seem to have a... black box around them?
Unsure why it's happening, it wasn't last night, but now this morning it seems like the transparent parts of the skins just... aren't anymore?

Could possibly be because my computer isn't plugged in? But that's an odd reason I think

*Edit: Also, any and all (to the best of my knowledge, I can't easily play them all without the crafted items after all) don't visibly appear at all, it's just a black square. Unless I'm actively holding (right clicked) an item. Very strange all around. Might reset her

Having the same issue, would appreciate a fix. If not, how do I reset? I've tried deleting and unzipping the files again a couple times, but that doesn't do anything except reset my preferences. For me, it started when I opened the gallery.

Interesting... I haven't seen that error before nor can I repo it off the issues you two have listed above. For now attempt to fully remove all information on the game. If you are able to enter the terminal ( The ` key ) and type CONFIG. This will give you the location of the games config data. Then Delete everything there. Hopefully that will fix it temp?

Yeah, I'm unsure as to what caused it unfortunately. She was running just fine yesterday, but opening her up this morning led to the strange black boxes.

I'll edit the config file (everything still runs the same, it seems to just be a cosmetic thing) and see if that fixes it

*Edit: Didn't seem to work, but also a good chance that I'm just an idiot who found the wrong file and so I may have actually just not done anything

Oh I mean delete all the files within the Config's folder. The files present should be Logs, objectdb_snapshots, shader_cache, and vulkan. Try removing those and restarting her. Please be careful when deleting stuff of course.

Yeah having the same issue here, Black background following all the items and characters makes actually seeing anything behind them impossible, deleted the files and reinstalled completely to no avail.

That's nasty... Ill try to look more into what is causing this but I don't have a lot of information to go off of for a fix. Did you happen to do any specific steps before hitting this error? For example running her for an extended period of time or doing a specific interaction (With her or within another program like a full screen game)?

It's been a bit of time so I don't remember everything for sure...

But I'd been running her for maybe 60-90 minutes at most, with the only other things open (besides just web browsers of Firefox and Microsoft Edge), being Word, Excel, Modrinth, and Discord, during which time I spent the majority of the time (after the first ten minutes just admiring and having fun) exploring the crafting recipes and seeing what could be done.

Also that, I closed her down (by opening the tab mini window at the bottom and clicking the X, not by opening the settings window thing). The next day, she has the black boxes. That's about it I think. Sorry it's a bit vague.

Damn, yeah that sadly doesn't help a ton in terms of QA info I can use to trace this. Ill attempt to put some logging in the next update that may help track this down, but I can't promise anything. I'm sorry
