I'm struggling like crazy with this, it's very well made and I like the graphics, but I am absolutely stumped with how to make progress without things falling apart😂

If you're struggling, at the start of the second month when you can pick your sponsor, don't be afraid to pick the cheap sponsor. It's quite good but it's not instant win, so it can get you through the game with more room to spare.
Also, the more you use cards tagged upgradable, the sooner they will upgrade, this will really help you out with your action economy, which is the real resource limit. Hope that helps!
