hi Croko, this may be short notice as the jam ends tomorrow, but I'm working on a small project that your tone of music might be perfect for.  https://ragtagradical.itch.io/little-critters

I'm not sure how much more polished it will be by submission time, but I plan to crunch on it this evening and tomorrow. 

  • The way the "game" works at present is I've chosen a chord (CMaj7) and each little character plays a note of it within a couple octaves. 
  • They play this note on their randomly chosen interval within 16 beats.
  • Then I use a global pitch scaler that attempts to change that chord to another note to create a kind of chord progression.
  • The player scrolls around the screen listening to the combinations of different critter sounds that synchronize into a kind of music.

If you're interested in contributing sounds, or have a deeper grasp of music theory and know a better chord, or ideas we could use I think it could end up pretty "CHILL".

Some background ambience would be excellent as well.
