Are there only 4 endings? Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange?
As far as I understand:
Red - Fail to kill any target.
Blue - Kill EVERYBODY on board.
Yellow - Partial success.
Orange - Success.
I got a grey ending for killing everyone. The ending described how Cooper was successful and got a promotion. So maybe it's just random?Orange for success confirmed

Killed everyone (42 by my count) and got the blue ending. Now the grey ending is a mysteryI also tried killing everyone except the targets and got red ending
Red ending is simply failing to kill any of the targets.
