The emotional beats were so good, I'm actually afraid to play through my Abel route where I stabbed him because now I feel bad!!! Also MC is a better person than me, my ass is NOT establishing boundaries. Actually I think the murder makes him hotter!!!!
Getting serious now after replaying this chapter like six times. I know some people will be unhappy with the Eliza reveal because its a common thing in romance games to write the MC is the only "important" relationship a character is allowed to have. Any past relationships need to have been shallow and/or toxic otherwise you're "competing" with them. I understand the mentality but eh. Idk it feels immature and cliche, but then again self indulgence is the name of the game with dating games. "
However, I honestly love Eliza and the idea of us being a portion of her reincarnated soul. It's very "I will find you in every lifetime" but with an understanding (as Florian says) that people change and the version of us from the past no longer exists. I love him, and I love the way he was written this chapter.
