Extremely polished, I love the art, everything feels good to interact with.
I think designing a game where losing is part of the loop is doable but it doesn't feel like it fits this kind of game. Losing to an enemy that you can't interact with yet is inevitable, and replaying the first few rounds feels slow. A speed up option would help quite a bit but I think just giving the upgraded flowers from the start would have been easier, maybe turning them all into upgrades to fit the evolution theme. I still played for a while and enjoyed it a lot, great game.
