The perspective, animation, and sound effects all contribute to a good atmosphere even though it is just a little proof of concept. I think that it would be good to add some way to better judge depth (maybe a shadow under the player) and when you turn a corner the player actually moves a bit closer than she was before the turn.

Sorry, the movement quirk is not fixable... I'll see for a shadow, tho, that's doable
