The "Before" Story
I was inspired by the hours spent waiting for rides at Cedar Point and noticing how people would often allow others ahead of them so they could make sure everyone in their group made it on the same train. I had a couple of false starts trying to make a game different game engines over the years but was never able to make much progress until this game jam.

The "MVP" Interpretation
There is no sound or music. Graphics are barebones. I just wanted to test some gameplay concepts. I was able to implement a few mechanics around grouping people into rows and cars but I have more I'd like to try, like having coaster enthusiast versions of the riders that prefer to sit in the front or back row. And maybe line jumpers that you have to prevent from getting on the train. I'd also like to experiment more with the level design and putting more constraints on the player's actions. Right now it feels a little too easy and repetitive.
