Sorry for the late reply, itch for some reason flagged bunch of comments and they weren't shown to me. Yes, there is a big 2.0 update in the works, which plans to add both local on-device multiplayer (kind of like that one mod for Act II), as well as actual networked multiplayer thru Discord activity and/or my website (standard Inscryption PvP stuff like IMF). Estimated release date is autumn 2026.
