This was super interesting, I remember listening to the revised story of Bloody painter and like how it's referenced with the photo we can see in the cabin's living room and how slow and methodical the VA was able to voice Bloody Painter. But I think what I found most interesting was our MC. Right off the bat I noticed she has the typical otome protagonist look back then where it was an average girl with brown long straight hair and no eyes. Even her clothes feel more suited to a lovely cliche romance environment than the murderer setting. It also kinda fits since there's more romance here than I initially thought there would be.

I also found the MC's emotions intriguing, she's shown to have little to no sympathy towards people who are dead (as I noted this was the only option to take that ensures your survival) and the dialogue where she stabs the corpse with no hesitation at all. Yet when it comes to Bloody Painter being sick she chooses to take care of him (as the other option of escaping leads to death which I believe isn't the canon ending).

So MC being empathetic towards living people and non-reactive to dead people is quite interesting as if her morality is only selective based on whether a person is dead or alive, or maybe it's because she bonded with Bloody Painter a bit more than seeing a corpse. I'm honestly leaning towards Good Ending 4-3 or 4-4 as being slightly more canon to MC since it's clear she has issues that are on the same level as Bloody Painter (who, for being a psychopath, is remarkably attached to MC so quickly during those first days). But I also found Good Ending 4-1 intriguing because even as she says she's living a "normal" life, let's be honest, anybody normal would have experienced amounts of trauma of being put in that situation. Even for two years there should be some negative effects but MC shows none of that. In fact, she's quick to put the experience behind her without lingering, seemingly only thinking about Bloody Painter (which seems to be a theme for the Good Endings, excluding Good Ending 4-2). So MC, no matter what, always seem to have a few loose screws in her head but in 4-1 she's able to mask herself as being more "normal".

I found Good Ending 4-2 a bit of like why normality can never survive in creepypastas. Even though MC increased her favor with Bloody Painter, he's still a psychopath and shows how little he values life aside from his artworks. So even if MC made him start to care, he justified those feelings as selfishness and turned MC into an artwork when MC expressed her desire to just stay with her normal life.

I also haven't even touched on how MC came to the cabin! Apparently she "stumbled" and witnessed the crime scene which was why Bloody Painter took her yet in 6 days nobody has noticed her gone missing. I know for sure in just one day my loved ones would be a mess if they didn't hear for me for hours so is MC just alone? Independent not only from family but also friends?? Her supposed isolation can make sense on why her personality seems so twisted in a subtle way.

Again, lovedddd this VN! So glad I took the time to play through it!
