thank you! some folks have gotten mad at me that i've "put people into boxes" but people specifically asked for categories by pairing: so it isn't some frivolous thing to me. it's about helping folks find things that affirm and excite them! It's a good thing imo: anything that gets trans work looked at is positive but y'know, i found out the hard way that folks will look down on me for ANYTHING which has been a wild experience.

It’s kind of ridiculous to get mad at that when people are grouped as gay/other or straight anyways. It’s not like you’re forcing the label on nonbinary couples/people who don’t identify with it? If straight cis couples are labeled het, straight trans couples are also labeled het, that’s how words work. Besides, like you said, it would be impossible to find media of it if its not under a label because theres so little and you wouldn’t be about to seek it out without a label to look under... Though honestly some people will just make up an issue with anything or anyone even if there are none

Some folks really dislike labels which like, I get? It's totally cool to dislike them? And I would remove anyone's stories from my collections if they asked. But, I think seeing a queer person like myself making collections to share with other queer and trans people to find more queer and trans stories and saying, "That horrible!" is like, a really fucking misguided take LOL I don't wanna toot my own horn or anything but it just doesn't feel like a battle some people should be trying to have rn X'D We can be nice to each other and uplift each other! It's actually so easy!
