Hello! I have a question regarding the license of your assets.

They are marked as CC BY 4.0, which allows commercial use with attribution. However, you also mention that payment is required for commercial use.

Could you please clarify which applies?

  1. Are the assets free for commercial use under CC BY 4.0 with attribution?
  2. Or is a paid license required for commercial projects?

If a paid license is required:

  • When should it be purchased (before development or before release)?
  • Where can I buy it?
  • What is the price?

Interestingly, the post says the model is Attribution 4.0, which by itself does not require any payment.

From what I understood, if you do not pay, it is technically a CC BY-NC, and if you pay, then it is a CC BY (Still requiring attribution).

Though OP seems not to respond people on Itch anymore.

He did, although, say this in specific:

“you just buy them and then you can use them in commercial projects”

So I assume that’s it.

thank you for the response! I did saw that comment but figured it was safer to just ask, it´s sad that OP is no longer answering. 

so I figured as much, perhaps I should just consider it a custom license or not bother with them just in case. anyhow do you by chance know any other platform where i can reach out?
