Maneeee u really kilt with the visuals and polish. I made one of dem rate for rate posts so I was busy playing other games, but I was eyeing to play this one once I finished. I already said it but ion kno bro it's jus that the visuals and the polish were sooooo good, it reallly didn't feel like a game jam at all. Very cute player model, very cohesive and cute 3D style as well. Water bears can lowkey be ugly irl but u made them so cute and chubby lol. I also really like the ending music I stayed a bit to listen to it. The only critiques I would have really is to optimise for movement-based things since the gameplay is so centered around it. I initially was a bit frustrated with the slow player speed, and it felt a bit walking sim-ish, but then I realized I can bounce around on my head, so maybe teaching the player they can do that would help polish the experience, perhaps. Also guiding the player through other movement-based things like holding space for a longer jump, and explaining that those pads boost your jumps further. I do really like the bouncing on the head, it reminds me of b-hopping, but it does introduce some more areas of polish imo. It's all jus slight stuff, but since when you bounce on your head, you are locked into that jump. It would be frustrating sometimes overshooting obstacles just because I was trying to go faster, or even being locked in the wrong direction from where I wanted to go. I think this could be fixed if you gave the player control over direction while they were in the air or maybe even giving them the ability to double jump (either built in or unlockable) so that they can have the chance to redirect when in the air. Overall, this was really good bruh. Good job!
