Thank you! I generally agree with all of this, the game was def hurt by the one-page format, and me trying to finish it before a minecraft server I was on closed. You're right that the "world" is the game master term, and starting with the 8 skills in character just means that you have access to all the basic skill tests even if you don't have any bonuses to them.
I've been thinking of taking another shot at this at some point, so I do appreciate the criticisms.
