Well done for your first gamejam, the game was a bit unclear and difficult for me, I couldn't make it past round 1, this could be on my part, good idea to handcraft the art yourself, this will come in handy in the future. If fits the theme really well, it would be nice to have it slightly animated but i know this can be time consuming. some music and sound effects can make the game come alive too, even if you don't make them yourself. overall very well done!

It does seem like there is a recurring theme on initial gameplay being an issue so I will work on my game development skills to try and make it smoother or easier to understand.
