It took me about 20 tries but I finally managed to solo the bandit fight without items or Selene’s help. I kinda wish the reward was better though considering that it was kinda tough to do.

Or that it would prevent Selene from revealing her magic. I understand why it didn’t and she still revealed her element anyways. I mean, it seems to be a pretty important story piece that could possibly set up a fight with Lucius later.
But at the very least it could’ve turned the negative point into a positive one. Make her disappointed that he told her to stay back, but in awe that the MC just soloed 1 lvl 10 bandit, 2 lvl 9 bandits, and a single lvl 8 one just to try and protect her secret.
Also that fight serves as a lesson as to why players should almost ALWAYS give the MC in an RPG a healing spell. Makes them self sustainable. Without him having a reliable way to heal himself, that fight would’ve been completely impossible for me to win.
Despite the only reward being 300 exp instead of 150ish, it was still a pretty fun fight to try and win solo.
