Hi! I'm a writer and aspiring game dev looking to assemble a team for the jam; I'm really impressed with your work, and I think it really fits the vibe I'm imagining for my game. I do a little composing on the side, as a hobby, so I'd be happy to collaborate on the music with you. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for reaching out ^^ Could you tell me a bit more about your idea? Also, feel free to contact me on Discord if that’s easier: nativica

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I haven't fully fleshed out any ideas; my hope was to assemble a full team (writers, artists, etc.) and have everyone collaborate so that every aspect of the game works together as a cohesive whole. If you know the game "Night in the Woods", that's probably a good starting point for what my current vision is.

Edit: I should have been more clear about my vision. I do have a broad outline of a concept, I'd just like to assemble a team to help turn it into a specific narrative. Informed by the theme of decay, the story takes place in "King's Hollow", a rural New England town (probably in Maine, to further the Stephen King reference, but anywhere in New England could work) that was once thriving but whose outwardly-friendly facade is slipping due to years of corruption and desperation - reflected in all manner of eldritch horrors. The idea behind getting the creative team in one room is that everyone can have input at all levels - artists can have a say in creating characters, which influences their character design, as well as the writing, and the composer could contribute to character design as they see fit, but also take these decisions and use them to influence the music (e.g. leitmotifs). Does that make sense to you?

Yeah, that makes sense!  I really like the atmosphere you described. If you put a team together, I’d be happy to join as a composer.

Thanks! I'm still waiting to get a team assembled, but I hope to keep you on as the composer.
