The game is very difficult, but visually stunning. My main issue is that the learning curve does not feel very gradual. You are thrown into a high level of difficulty before you really have time to get used to the controls, so it can feel like you are hitting a wall almost immediately. The bullets are so fast that the game becomes overwhelming very early on. That said, the game has a lot of potential and already feels very polished.

Hey RuneMoth!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and leave your feedback :)

I think you bring up some really valid points regarding the difficulty. A possible way to address that might be switching from an infinite score-based system to a more structured, sequential level system with careful balancing adjustments. Alternatively, for this jam, we could have lowered the overall difficulty.

There was a lot being asked of our programmer from both the audio and art sides, so we ended up working until the very last minute. Because of that, a few bugs slipped through that made the game more difficult than intended. For example, when hitting one of the enemies, all bullet patterns were supposed to stop but since we were still tweaking things at the last minute, we missed that line of code.

That said, we totally understand your point and will definitely work on fixing these issues after the jam is done.

Cheers, and thank you again!!
