A really great platformer! The jump dash definitely gives me the vibes of Super Mario Odyssey. Nice twist with the monkey swinging. For some feedback:
- I think the swinging felt a bit stiff sometimes. The grounded movement was much more fun than the swinging movement for me. It was also difficult for me to gauge the height of where my swing would be. The portion where I had to swing to get 4 bananas in a row was hard in an unintuitive because of that.
- The portion after the 4 bananas and breaking the arms is where I got stuck in a crevice. Near the right side of the corner bend after that section.
- An ability to change the sensitivity would be very appreciated in this game
But overall the level design was fun. Flowed quite well. The mechanics were fun. The movement was fun. The art was very good. Super great game for the jam!
