this game is really fun, if you hold “down” while falling you pick up speed really fast, im not sure if its an intended feature, but whether it is or not i love it as a learnable movement tech. as a guy who loves game with alot of movement tech like titanfall 2 and ghostrunner, i love that there are multiple intended and unintented ways to get through the same gap or obstacle. also brilliant job on the pixel art and story!

Yeah that feature is intended like you said I wanted the player to have the ability to beat the level in multiple ways, whether it was through using different mechanics in combination or getting better at movement
