Currently - no, you'll have to clear cache and hope it helps or reinstall the game and live with it, or there's a 3rd option - if possible play the PC version, as it's more stable and free of those crash issues 

The reason behind it is that the game is developed with Windows in mind as the default platform, Android build exists simply because Godot Engine let's dev export the code as an .apk installer - hence "experimental" in the filename

Those issues are heavily device dependent - not all Android users experience said crashes, so it's hard to pinpoint an actual root cause

Uninstalling is a waste tbh takes a long time(only if you know how to store files).

The other option is that You could just keep the apk and press update and it'll probably be refreshed the game, taking off the crash and it'll working like it is intented.

I checked the app file when it crashed, only seeing it as empty. So practically the apk probably self-destruct's itself. Or just a bug in the apk
