was looking for an online merge games like those cursed apps. and this was the best thing i could have found.

cant find anything else like it

wish to god it was finished with all my soul but i saw you updated in nov? so hopefully that means there will be updates soon.

ive played this version for hours, wish the pokemon were a mechanic so i could clear the board but i do love the gameplay nonetheless

ive also played the web version for hours and its equally fun. im very intrigued in that one and the unfinished mechanics like the map and the backpack.

10/10 game would recommend.

i love tha you can instantly recharge generators but when im working on a writing project i use them being empty as an excuse to keep working before i inevitably come back.

Thank you for the kind feedback! I'm a big fan of merge games myself but got sick of the microtransactions and waiting, so I just decided to make my own. Now it's one of those projects that are always on the back of my mind, but it requires a lot of work to wrap up.

I think wait times play an important role in merge games, making generator upgrades feel powerful, making boosters fun to use, and giving you natural break points. Hopefully I could replace the instant-recharge button with generous amounts of time boosters instead.

I'm still mostly stuck on is how to integrate Pokemon. Most Pokemon have an evolution chain of 2-3 stages, so you only ever need 4 Caterpies to complete its chain. Add too many Pokemon at the same time and it will flood the board. Doing same-type-pokemon-chains could work but requires a lot of generators and limits me to ~15 Pokemons per type. Maybe Pokemon are awarded from tasks and require items to evolve, like a mini-task. Maybe I need a separate PC board for Pokemon only. Maybe Pokemon should be used in completing battle tasks, or used as boosters on the board, but then would they be consumed?

Just thinking out loud, in case anyone has any thoughts.

I can't imagine the kind of work it takes to make a game like this! but yeah, its much better than the phone games i get stuck on and i love pokemon. all the little items that there are in the game make it perfect for merging, but i see what you mean about pokemon being hard to integrate.
i do really like how the web version is working right now with the water and fire starters. For specifically starters, i think its fine to go down the generation line like that.
im definitely not a game designer by any means! but i do think pokemon for battle tasks makes a lot of sense.
Id also say I could see a pokemon themselves becoming a generator for more pokemon, like how pokemon can create eggs in game. maybe eggs is also something you could add? it would at least add one more stage to pokemon merge lines.
definitely items to evolve as a mini-task makes a lot of sense and sounds fun to me!
the only thing I can think of to get around having so many pokemon taking up space is if there were different boards for different regions? But as I type it out that sounds like way more work! lol
I guess you could also add a chance mechanic? If pokemon are awarded from battles maybe its not a 100% kind of thing, but a chance every time you complete the battle.
but thanks for making the game! and its cool to hear its still rattling around in your head even if an official update doesn't come for a long while! :)
