Absolutely amazing art! Love the color palette choice, the art, visuals. 5/5 on that front for sure.
The audio is quite nice but a little barren feeling for some reason. Not sure exactly why.
I'm not a huge fan of the current freeze frame implementation. It sometimes felt like a lag skip instead of a freeze frame. Maybe adding camera zoom effects, shortening it a bit, and adding a more impactful sound than the current one would help.
I really enjoyed the game though! Keep developing it I'd love to see where it goes.
