The idea isn't bad, but there are a couple of problems: 1. Enemies don't disappear after death, and it's unclear who to shoot; 2. Enemies can simply corner you, forcing you to restart the game.

Regarding the enemies not disappearing: I’m actually quite surprised because they are designed to shatter into 8 pieces upon death. I tested this many times and didn't encounter any issues. Could you please try it again to see if it’s still happening? It might have been a one-time technical glitch. Also, being cornered in those corridors was an intentional choice to add challenge and a 'Backrooms' tension, but I understand if it felt too frustrating.

On a side note (this is unrelated to the jam): If I were to make a 'Vampire Survivors' style Boomer Shooter this week—vast open areas, dashing through waves of enemies, leveling up, and unlocking new abilities—would you be interested in playing it? I’d love to hear your honest thoughts!

Hmm, that's weird. Okay, I'll launch the game again, and about the enemies that surround you, the thing is that they never disappeared for me, and even after death they wouldn't let me pass. Okay, I don't mind playing your game.
