[I'm going to do my best to be non-spoilery in the review.] I love games with unusual concepts, and this one drew me in immediately. I give you an A on atmosphere. The weirdness builds slowly as you go, and juanjo's ambient music is fantastic. I did get stuck here and there, trying to figure out what squares to click and what I was doing wrong (true to the real experience). The creep factor kept getting stronger as I went along. Once I started needing the WASD keys, though, I had trouble because it's SO dark, I couldn't tell certain textures apart that it turns out you need to be able to distinguish to progress, so I was just guessing what to do for 15-20 minutes, and after going in proverbial circles for 10 minutes, even the awesome background music and solid sound effects lost some of their power. (That one sound cue got me GOOD, though.) Eventually I did figure out what I needed to do to get to the ending. I think the game could use a little more polishing/tweaking, notably making the end less dark and the assets less trademark-infringey (maybe give the tool a parody name like "weCapture" and change window colors and fonts?), but with it, I feel like this game has potential to be big with the indie horror crowd. Overall, I really dug it.
