I didn't think it was a bug, seriously, I thought it was a funny, purposeful feature. Honestly, I don't see much to criticize about the game.
I would add that there should be more interactive elements on the ship, because some seem interactive or make you want to interact with them, but you can't. I also think some controls or UI screens should be streamlined; for example, I think when I open a tab, I can't close it with the escape key, only with the mouse. After that, it would be great if the game saved games to the cloud, if it doesn't already, and had multiplayer, etc. It's a great project; best of luck.
