it does, before i even go to the shrine it says growth ready
Then can you check what stage it says in the character info menu?
stage 2, character is lvl 15 on this save.

I haven't seen it happen before. If you give me your save I can maybe fix it.
how do i send you the save?
First you need to find it in %appdata%/Growing Explorations/. Then you can just open the file and paste it here or you can alternatively upload it somewhere and send me a link to it. Both work.

Shouldn't be. The game saves are always placed in there. If not this try looking for a Godot directory instead
