Actually, I managed to get the followers to show up!... But now they have no diagonals and do some weird rotations. I recreated the issue that i had in my main project in this sample one. Here is a link to a drive folder.

I manage to see the weird follower rotation. Just changed the plugin order and it worked just fine:

But don't know if this will cause any further issue. Only with more testing to know. But so far, working fine.

I gave it a try and while the follower direction is now synchronized to that of the player, it does not display the diagonal frames now. 🥲

Yes, that is true. I just tested it. If I put it below QMovement the diagonal sprite works for followers but mess with directions. If I put it above, the diagonal sprites does not works but the directions are good.

I will have to take a look into the code. It may take a while.
