Your computer isn't allowing the game to create a save folder. You can try to fix permission settings or try to move the game to a different location like your generic 'downloads' folder.
Welp, that was exactly the issue apparently. I had the file in a, well, secret folder- thanks for that, its a cute game, now I can actually play it ^^
