So Moralt is basically a boy with daddy issues, while Artyom is a troubled teen. It is true that both of them have been bullied and hurt by this world, but what frustrates me is that, as former victims themselves, they still cannot empathize with who they once were. In that sense, how are they any different from the people who hurt them? They are still willing to become perpetrators themselves. At least in my opinion, Rajiv’s route is a much better one.
Also, the CGs for the last three endings are absolutely gorgeous. The lighthearted and bright American President route ends with a beautiful blue sky and white clouds, with the two of them smiling and holding hands, symbolizing a peaceful, gentle, and happy life. The ambitious and aggressive Communist route uses deep red flags, slogans, and deliberate, highly directed gestures to represent an unwavering sense of determination. As for the Fascist route, its dark and oppressive tones carry a sense of evil and a power that feels capable of devouring the whole world.
