I hope it picks up in chapter 2 because the entirety of chapter 1 was just one long ass exposition dump. All tell and no show. Super boring so far.
It definitely gets sooo much better! You really need an understanding of the world and the Families to appreciate the nuances and intricacies of the story. It's well worth sticking with to see what happens next! Can't wait for Chapter 4!!
