The latest build makes a few changes to the audio effects, we're not sure if it will help or not exactly but if you are still experiencing the issue you can let us know!
The bug is still happening for me on the surface when id latch on to something with my hook the sound would screech but would still keep playing and when I inhaled the ashes the audio stopped entirely
