I did an itemless "speedrun" (it wasn't great) in 1:26, pretty cool game, I can definitely see the space gladiators inspiration, but I think there's a bit of battleblock theater and nuclear throne in there too? Anyway, I think the game is pretty fun, but there were two issues that I had: sometimes I slid past the arena and lost the run, because I fell. In some places, I think after sliding, the character would continue walking right (probably also left, but I've only gotten it with walking right) and I would be softlocked, because I couldn't move in a different direction or jump. I think the items are pretty cool and I probably haven't seen a lot of them, it would be cool if there were more levels/enemies/bosses, but that's up to you to decide if you want to continue working on the game. (By the way endless is kinda sick).
