Hola.

English translation:

“Hi, I have a question. Does the game need to have already been published in another game jam, or would an abandoned project also work?”

Reply:

Hey. Ideally, the game was submitted to a jam before and you’re bringing it back to improve it.

But if you do not have an old jam game you want to improve, an abandoned project is also OK.

The important part is that both versions are playable in the browser, and that we can clearly see the Before and After versions.

So it is required to post the old version too???

What if I only have footage of it?

My previous game was published in a jam, but it can’t be played in the browser — it has to be downloaded and played locally. I can’t upload the old game because I don’t have the exact version I submitted. That said, the game is playable, and there are videos of people from the previous jam playing it, so that should be enough.
