My best suggestion would be to do a short game/comic that's OPAS adjacent and call it a side story. See if that helps re-ignite your passion. Make it a silly dream what if, or maybe some alternate dimension shenanigans like Edolas in the actual show.
If you do make it a shorter side game, and you find that the code is the major problem? I'd suggest thinking about either ways to fix the code, ways to redo things, or starting a "part 2" even if you have to connect things in some janky ways, just to forcibly clean the code base. If it's the story that's the problem? Continue doing side content maybe? If you still can't figure it out... I don't know what to suggest at that point.
