There are definitely the bones of a good game here, but unfortunately some issues with graphics/mechanics get in the way. It's a shame, because I was beginning to get invested in the story and I was really curious how it would turn out!
For instance:
- Pressing an arrow at the start skips the officer's introduction and the whole tutorial (making me very lost on the first playthrough).
- Next playthrough, I found myself cycling between the kitchen cabinet and the living room drawers looking for pills, and my notes had gone completely blank.
- On my third playthrough this was fixed, but this time clue 5.A. was in there twice, and the finding the scene behind the couch didn't add anything to my notes.
Update: after a few resets, I made it to the end! I thought it was a very interesting and unique game, and I loved the style and graphics. Honestly, just a bit more playtesting to work out the bugs and it would be fantastic.
