I'm sorry about that, the high difficulty is meant to extend the game's length. If you walk slowly and move away each time the monsters detect you, you should be able to lure them far enough to pass safely by sticking to the walls. If I ever update the game, I'll add more length, lower the difficulty, and add checkpoints.

yeah, it's a bit harder when you have a non negligible input lag, like I'm experiencing for some reason (other games doesn't express the same input lag so maybe some strange interaction with the RPGMaker runtime or njws ). While at the end I did succeed at the hospital level, the endgame level was impossible (between the fog strenght and the disappearing enemies) so I ended editing the map files to see the ending

Overall nice story, a bit hard on the feelings at the end
