I want to preface this by saying that this is a type of game right down my alley.
I really admire all the risks taken in creating this game. It is a standout in many aspects for sure. From the concept, to the ingredient usage to the gameplay. Everything about this game is different.
What it comes down to for me is the execution. I feel like this game is basically all about atmosphere and in the end it missed the mark a bit for me. I would have loved to see more intense music and SFX and MUCH more visual post-processing to sell the whole "dream-like" environment.
As a relatively inexperienced solo game developer though, I think you should be very proud of what you've accomplished and I believe that with practice you can make very interesting and experimental games!
