The wall of text instructions is daunting, but the game was intuitive once it started. I couldn't see who killed my scout, only informed it was a casualty at turn end. The balance seemed more toward AI or maybe skill issue. When I spotted an enemy for the first time, my movements became deliberate and tactical and it felt great.

Thanks for playing and this is great feedback, I 100% agree. I've made a change so now the end turn pop up doesn't appear right away. This way you can see what is actually happening to your units after you end your turn.
