I'll admit, I tried this on an April Fools whim. Never jived with the retro style on GMOTA and others. But after playing with this, I'm gonna have to give those a proper shake. Cause, damn, this is tight in a lot of ways.

Only thing I think is missing is something more with the Lance's primary. I went through a half-dozen random Sunlust maps before realizing it was the only attack option I didn't use. (Testament to how solid everything else is, though!)

Also, is "Reset All Gear" supposed to leave you with the guns? They don't have ammo, so it's practically still a pistol start, but loading a map with them in pocket gave me a small existential crisis on whether I'd forgotten how the map started.

I'm not quite sure what I could do to make the standard shot of the Lance more appealing, this was a pretty big hangup I had when I was designing that weapon. The BFG in general has always been a thorn in my side.

As for the reset all gear option not taking your guns, that is definitely not intentional, I see where I screwed up there. So I'll do a small update in the near future that fixes that, and that Gearbox compatibility I was discussing with TrickTrigger below.

That's my bad.

While it's definitely not a railgun in the slightest, I find its primary as a good long range option against the more slower or stationary enemies like the Trident's primary.  Not sure if it's different outside of Malefactors, but two bursts are always enough to kill a single Arachnotron.
