More of a art game than a game game… What I mean by that is if you want to play this in order to have fun well that’s not that kind of game. It is more of an interactive yume niki type of landscape with surprisingly well designed places. For simply “a walking simulator” this game goes into territories that are very bold and I like it a lot.
I would be lying if by moments of running around aimlessly in a depressing hellscape, I didn’t feel frustrated about what to do and almost put the game down for good. But im glad I didn’t. Everything in this game is worth experiencing. It seems to be coming for a very real and raw place and I can’t help but feel this huge wave of awe when thinking about it.
I hope the game dev got a bit of recognition and love from this game. I think it must feel good! That’s why. I’m so curious about what he is going to do next and I’ll keep an eye on him!
Also why the fuck is this free? There’s no reason for it to be free! Like at least a fucking euro or something? I played way worse shit that was way more expensive! If it comes from a place of insecurity. Well I get it, but come on.
Also that game really spoke to me on a personal level. I’m also making a game. I’m also feeling like a complete waste of human life as I’m going through it. And it inspired me! Even if the game im making doesn’t have the success I want, I’ll be able to create stuff im proud of eventually. This game is a proof of that. I want to be like 5% as interesting and daring as this game is. Thank you for that again!
