Haven't cried over an IF in a while, but a beetle breaks me >:'/ I named it Merce as a play on MC's name but put no thought into it... until it DIED

My attraction to stone-walled characters and my MC's hatred (used lightly) of Umr are at odds, I kept frowning and then giggling at my screen lmao

I chose the name Lenity cause I thought it's be ironically funny to then play a hardened character, but perhaps true to her name she chose to be kind when she could despite the circumstances :') She's a bit conflicted whether to beat Umr up or just give up, and I think the indecisiveness makes her more real to me. Including the switches between ogling and berating him oops.

I'm happy to say that yours was one of the first ones I found after coming back from irl things, and that I'm hopelessly hooked on it! May have to break out my drawing skills for this one sometime.

I did fall for Z literally the second he spoke to MC though ... My compliments to the author for these amazing and compelling characters!

Welcome to the garden, Mistyleaf!

Aw! I knew immediately your MC's chosen name was Lenity just from hearing their beetle's name, and that's amazing to me. I am sorry to hear you cried over Merce's untimely demise, though! :(

Characters who choose to be kind despite the circumstances embody one of my favourite archetypes - and conflicted too! Maybe names have more power in this realm than you first thought?

Berate Umr more, I say! He deserves it!

Aaahhhh thank you so much. And I'm so happy Z's first impression was such a positive one. Much more of the elder twin in future updates!

Knowing GoB has inspired you as an artist is so lovely to hear - if you do, I wish you a most wonderful time sketching.

Thanks for the kind words, and for sharing your thoughts on the demo!
