I have never played set before and I did not find the rules very clear. The rules are convoluted I know it is by design if the rules were simple it would not be much of a game. I think you should have an interactive tutorial the text and two examples did not do much to help. I did figure out what I was trying to do eventually and when I did I could not help but think, this game would be better with music.
