Please make sure to fully remove any previous versions of the base game and its DLC from your PC (i.e. move them to your trash and delete).
The base game currently displays "5.5.1" because I haven't had time to update the files and publish to Itch; however, so long as you're downloading the base game from the correct Itch page (which shows the correct version number), it should be up to date.
