Sorry, but I'm a bit confused about what you're saying ;v;

14DWY is completely free, and you don't need to purchase it (unless you choose to donate Itch's suggested amount, which is optional). There is also no complete version of the game. It's only a demo, which currently ends at Day 5.

No. I've said this a few times in the past, but the base game (including the completed version) will always be free! ^^ Any future DLCs will cost money, however.

This is mentioned in the dev-log above, but...

"⚠️ Before downloading the latest update, make sure to delete any saves and previous downloads/versions of the game! This includes Day 4, Day 3.5, Day 2, etc."

Ensure you're not using any older save files, and that you're starting the game from the beginning.

Someone has already kindly offered a suggestion, and I also think it'd be a good idea to see if you can whitelist the 14dwy folder from being scanned by your antivirus program ^^ I promise there are no malicious files or malware hidden inside /gen

I doubt this is the case, but as a precaution: make sure to only download 14DWY from the official Itch page. That way, you can ensure that no sketchy, third-party websites are trying to get you to download any harmful viruses.

This also doesn't apply to you specifically (since you're using a PC), but I also want to quickly state that there is no official mobile app for 14DWY yet! So please don't download random files online or follow tutorials from accounts that aren't mine T_T

Please refrain from making jokes like this, even if you're just trying to be funny ^^; I've also made a Twitter and Tumblr post regarding an Android version of 14DWY if you're interested.

Firstly, I want to apologise for the late response; I've been really busy with IRL priorities, and I don't (thoroughly) check Itch as often as I'd like ;n;

I also want to say that I'm very sorry about what happened to you while you were in the server! But please understand that in the thee-ish years of running the server, the 14DWY staff team have had countless run-ins with minors trying to sneak their way in by using IDs belonging to their older siblings, parents, and even grandparents. Because of this, we've had to implement additional measures to ensure they can't get in ^^;

I'd like to clarify that the 14DWY Discord staff are in no way trying to be ageist just for erring on the side of caution, and they typically ask for additional verification as a precautionary measure to dissuade minors from joining a safe space meant for adults — as well as to discourage them from using someone else's ID without their consent or knowledge. We do not condone such behaviour, and we want minors to understand that what they are doing is wrong. You just (unfortunately) happened to get caught in the crossfire of it all ;n;

The server staff also do not, in any capacity, judge anyone based on their physical appearance, nor would they deny someone entry based on their personal interests or looks. They're merely being thorough in vetting who enters the server, as again, far too many minors have attempted to get in by using IDs belonging to someone significantly older than they are.

I also want to apologise again for how you were treated and the way your ticket was handled. I've since spoken to the mod about it. However, I do want to quickly clarify that there were no logs of anyone telling you to remove yourself from the server if you didn't comply. The only thing remotely close was the previously mentioned mod saying that "you [were] welcome to leave [the server] at any time" if you didn't feel comfortable with the verification method. I also have confirmation that none of the mods blocked you at any point — and it's likely you just don't share any mutual servers with them, which is why you wouldn't be able to view their profile or contact them. I'm not saying this to demean you in any way, but I just wanted to clear up any misconceptions you might've had regarding the server/staff, and how it might come across to those who aren't in the server (or don't have any context).

Hopefully this helps to clear things up!! And once again, I'm very sorry for the late response and how poorly your issue was handled! T_T

As you mentioned, there will be at least 14 days, so you can expect a bit of a slow burn!! But to clarify further, during Day 2, Angel didn't view themself as dating Ren and was confused when he called himself their boyfriend. So it'd be odd for Angel to call Ren their boyfriend or hold his hand (in front of Olivia) when they're not comfortable being in a relationship. But with that being said, Angel does start to change their mind in Day 5!

As for your second question, the entire premise of 14dwy is for Ren to dress up as Angel's ideal type, which happens to be Haruko from AOG. Please keep in mind that "Ren" is just a persona he created to get Angel to like him, and there wouldn't be much of a plot if I introduced [REDACTED] straight away. He'd have no reason to dye his hair pink, wear soft academia clothing, be nice and empathetic towards everyone, or even act like a "normal" person. Ren is the type of yandere who's willing to change every aspect of himself to gain Angel's love and affection!

You likely had the "unlock all 18+ scenes" feature enabled. It's recommended that you play with it turned off — mainly because it's an experimental feature — but also because its only purpose is to make all 18+ scenes accessible without having to sleep with Ren during Day 1.

If you enable this feature, the game will automatically assume that you've slept with Ren During Day 1, thus giving you that dialogue.

With all that being said, I appreciate the kind words and love for Day 5! Thank you very much!! ^^

That's because 14DWY is currently still in development. This is specified in the game's description (on Itch), as well as during the warning screen, the character creation screen, and the demo end screen ;v;

It currently only goes up to Day 5!!

I've mentioned this before, but I do not condone the use of AI for any of my assets in any way, including 14 Days With You. As the sole creator of the game, I find it incredibly disrespectful when my original assets are used without my consent.

Please understand that using AI might not affect you in any way, but it does have a significant impact on me, my intellectual property, and the sheer amount of time and effort I've put into the game. It's extremely demoralising to have all my efforts fed to AI, only for it to produce something inaccurate, lifeless, and built from content that was stolen from real people without their permission. I'm sure this is something that many other online creatives can agree with.

If you'd like to interact with Ren in real time, I urge you to consider joining the 14DWY Discord and checking out the official Ren Bot I created myself. The bot features genuine, in-character responses that have been manually written by me or other community members. There is also no connection to AI whatsoever, as all of Ren Bot's responses are pre-written beforehand (rather than scraping data from real people without their knowledge or consent) and pulled at random from a directory.

Also... Please practice kindness and understanding when speaking to others. There's no need to be rude just to prove a point. Thank you for your understanding.

Are you talking about Olivia? If so, you can get her killed during Day 2 — but only if you make one extremely specific choice.

You also already gain (and lose) affinity points with Ren, depending on the routes you go down and the choices you make. As do the rest of the characters!!

Are you talking about the black screens? If so, that's intentional. There's only one 18+ CG that you can get during Day 1. The remaining scenes don't have any.

By default, the 18+ scenes are locked behind sleeping with Ren in Day 1. If you don't sleep with him, you won't be able to view the remaining 18+ scenes. But if you choose the "Show all 18+ scenes" option, you'll be able to view all the 18+ scenes without needing to sleep with Ren in Day 1.

Since 14DWY is an offline game and doesn't use Wi-Fi, I have no way of pushing update pings or files to those who download it. So you'll unfortunately have to keep checking Itch to see if there's been an update ^^; Sorry!

Also... Discord does get early access to 14DWY builds, updates, and devlogs (since folks often spend money to boost the server or donate to my Ko-Fi, and I feel bad gsjhgs). However, it all gets cross-posted on Itch, Tumblr, and Twitter after a certain amount of time. So you don't need to join if you don't want to!

Are you talking about the Dead Ends? Or the "secret" CG you can get in Day 5? If it's the latter, there's a guide mentioned in the "Day 5 Update" log.

Many of the choices only offer slightly different dialogue, so I don't think it's worth saving at every point gjgsjsjak

Nevertheless, I'll keep this in mind for future updates!

The only files that you need to download are on the main page!

You can't download the days separately, as they're all included in the main file. However, you do need to re-download the file whenever there's an update.

If possible, please provide screenshots so I can better understand your issue. I'm not exactly sure why there wouldn't be an arrow to take you back to the character screen or advance the game.

And yes, if you have older save files, you'll need to delete them (since most of the time, they're not compatible with the latest update).

How to kill Teo: On Day 4, go into the closet with him, encourage Ren's dark behaviour, and then go home (do not stay at Ren's apartment).

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand what you're asking ^^; Deleting old save files has nothing to do with the Discord server.

This is unfortunately a very old bug that I gave up trying to fix djghjdjsg

Until it's fixed, my only suggestion would be to not change your name after the character creation screen, ^^; Sorry!

Make sure you delete any previous versions of the game before downloading the Day 5 update.

And please don't use any old save files either, as they're typically no longer compatible. Once you've downloaded the newest version, start from the beginning and skip to Day 5.

I think you might be confused between a downloadable Mac application and a standard iOS app from the Apple Store? ^^; Because I haven't made any apps for Apple.

However, I'm currently looking into creating an Android version — though nothing is set in stone right now, and my main priority will still be PC/Mac/Linux builds!!

Are you playing the Day 5 update? There's an option to unlock all the 18+ scenes during the character creation screen.

None of the Easter eggs are canon! A good way to tell is: if it's not available within the game after you make your name "Angel", then it's not related to the official storyline and should be considered an AU instead ^^ All the current Easter eggs are just my way of saying "thanks" to the community, as they've all done so much for me and 14DWY (and for free, too???!!!?) ;v; They have no ties to the actual canon storyline, and are just there for da 14DWY community to enjoy ♡
