If this still happens even after you've fully restarted your PC, I'd suggest deleting all your previous 14DWY files and re-downloading everything again.

If you still need help, please visit the DLC page and leave another comment there! Otherwise all I can suggest is locating the correct folder and replacing the "14nightswithyou-paid" folder with it. You can usually find the correct folder by opening the folder you just unzipped/extracted.

If you'd like some help on how to obtain the Day 5 CG, I actually just answered a similar question here :3

If you're talking about the alleyway CG, you just need to be mean/dismissive to everyone during Days 1-5, encourage Ren's dark behaviour whenever you get the opportunity, and make sure to dismiss Ren at the beach during Day 5!

Just so that there's no confusion, the demo of the DLC is completely free, and you don't need to pay for it. But if you're talking about the paid version of the DLC, I can only accept whatever payment options are available on the Itch page. You can read the FAQ to learn more!

I'm already using "collected by itch.io, paid later" as my preferred payout method! ^^ And I prefer not to use "direct to you" as a payout option because of tax and liability issues. It's also why I always ask folks in the comment section to contact Itch support for refunds (since I literally don't have access to my earnings unless I initiate a payout akflgsa ^^;)

The "direct to you" option also offers Stripe payments if you connect your Stripe account (which I've already done), but because the DLC includes 18+ content, Itch has no choice but to remove Stripe as a payment processor. If anyone is interested in learning more, you can read about it in Itch's notice here, or in the FAQ mentioned on the Itch page.

If anyone else has this problem, I'd suggest checking whether you've downloaded the latest version of the DLC and the base game! You only get that message if one (or both) of them is outdated.

To unlock the 18+ scenes, you'll need to download the "14 Nights With You" DLC! There is a link to it on this Itch page, or you can also view my profile to see all of my games.

There is a demo/free version of the DLC available (with all the original 18+ scenes you remember from 2024), so please make sure to download that version if you aren't interested in the paid version.

Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately, I don't think I'll change the italics for the player's internal thoughts since I want a clear way to visually show the difference between when characters are speaking versus thinking (or narrating what's happening).

Please be more specific! ^^ What exactly happens when you try to download it? Do you get any errors?

Make sure you've followed the installation guide on this page correctly!! Check your DLC folder name; it must be called "14 Nights With You" and not "14nightswithyou-free" or "14nightswithyou-paid".

To resolve your issue, please locate the "14 Nights With You" folder and use it to replace the incorrect folder.

Unfortunately, you'll have to contact Itch support within 7 days of making your purchase to request a refund!

I also don't give out copies of the DLC to those who accidentally donate or want to do alternative/direct payments ;n; It'd be unfair to the folks who've already tried to ask in the past (and were rejected), and it'd also be difficult for me to manage and keep track of everything on my own ^^;

If possible, please provide a screenshot of how you've installed the DLC into the "game" folder!! It'll help me identify the problem.

No, both the free and paid versions can only be run on PC (Windows, Linux, and Mac).

No. The DLC only adds 18+ content to the base game, which you can learn more about on the Itch page. It doesn't include any base game content, and requires the base game to work. It can't run on its own.

14DWY and its DLC are meant to be played on PC only (Windows, Linux, and Mac). Because I'm not developing it for third-party software like JoiPlay, I can't offer any help or support. Sorry!

Make sure you're not using the "14nightswithyou-free" or "14nightswithyou-paid" folder. If you are, you need to locate and replace it with the "14 Nights With You" folder instead.
