Roadmap or future plans

Hello,

I was wondering what are the future plans for this pack. Will it be updated with new stuff? Would be nice to get some new stuff even if it's paid like the enemies pack.

New units: King, Wizard or mage, maybe ballista or some siege stuff. But king and wizard would really be nice.

New enemies: would be nice to get like different goblins, different skeletons or undead and some other common fantasy enemies.

Some different boat or ship types would be nice too.

Just giving some ideas, like I said if you add new stuff I would be happy to pay for the packs, same as with the current enemy pack.

I think the art is very good!

I'm also interested in the project's roadmap. I feel like hex-based terrain is missing, as well as characters like a king, prince, or hero, or even other races (orcs, undead, etc.). I find your work outstanding and truly love this art style—it’s very professional. If PixelFrog were to set a price on Patreon for creating each expansion, other developers and I would be happy to chip in and cover the costs.

I heard he plans to expand eventually but is prioritizing commissions for now. I still feel that adding another premium enemy would be a smart move to help them earn more.

Damn. Wasted 15 bucks. Thought there be monthly stuff.

Hey, yes, more assets comming. I had to focus on commissions for a wile. I'll add new pack with additional prices, that way I can finance the new expansions.

  • New enemies for the Enemy Pack
  • Up and Down directions for main characters (Warrior, Archer, Lancer, Monk)
  • Resource Pack (exansion on resources)
  • Units Pack (expansion on Human troops and Buildings)
  • Terrain Pack (expansion on the terrain tiles with new enviroments)

Thanks for the reply!

Looking forward to new additions.

A new boss would also be nice, something fantasy related.

Warriors have shield defense. Maybe you could consider additional animations, like an archer's ducking or prone animation for a second, and a lancer's pike swing to defend against ranged attacks? It would be great if every character had a dodge/defense animation :)

I'm glad you haven't forgotten about this project and are ready to develop it further. We can't wait to see what you have in store for your fans! :)

Hey! (love this pack btw).

I'm excited for the up and down directions for main characters.

I think it'd also be awesome if there were up/down(/diagonal?) ramps.
Not entirely sure how that would work for the perspective/style.
But it would unlock a lot of freedom for the game I'm working on.

Thanks!

woould love 1-2 more colors for larger games, a green and maybe orange.

Can't wait to see what comes next, absolutely love the art style of the Tiny Swords set!
I'd love to see elements to support base defending, such as constructing wooden & stone walls / spikes / traps that sort of thing :)
Stone resource animation for the pawns (i.e. like gathering gold) would also be fab

Hello Pixel Frog :)

Glad to hear that you gonna expand this beautifully crafted asset pack. Currently working on a game concept based on this.

I wanted to know if we get free updates in case that we purchased the Enemy pack (updates on the free content + the enemies - like the animations and the new tilesets)?

Or do we have to purchase every new pack like the enemy for 15 bucks?

When can we get some new stuff? I'm really looking forward to seeing what lovely things you've created.

seems like he was saying just above here that the expansion packs will require separate purchases

I would also be interested in buying expansion assets for Tiny Swords.

If you were to run a Kickstarter-style fundraiser, I would be willing to pledge some money!
