Yes I was in the battle screen waited for my lava exp and noticed it didn't work .
That said I just played a fresh session on my phone exactly the same as the other day and the devil works. Got my first friend point after unlocking the knights for 1000exp.
So I have actually no clue what happened the other day lol. Awesome game btw
