New chapter! I just finished reading and I wanna grip this story with my teeth and shake it aggressively like a dog with its favourite toy, I LOVE IT. New bug friend? YES LOVED IT. I NAMED MINE AMOS. RIP. Older twin name reveal? FUCK YES. LOVED IT. Can't wait to meet them!! I love sun characters! I think my absolute favourite new thing though would be the journal (which I'm guessing when the story's finished, we can only get if we're high trust with U? Dang π₯²). It's nice to know that the MC has another outlet for all their Emotions™ besides, uhm, violence and arson. Especially my MC, cough cough

But yeah, I was NOT expecting literal months to pass, I would've set everything on fire again if I could. But that quiet conversation with U at the end was so fascinating >:0 (I just like seeing them sad, its refreshing. Is that a little evil? Hmmm. Nahhh... "The dog that weeps after it kills" and all that, yk? π) When I chose that option, and my MC was like "I'd do it again," I got chills. CHILLS. Not a lot of interactive fiction games, at least none of the ones I've played so far, really does the "hate route" quite like Garden of Bones. Most of the time, it's done like a typical enemies/rivals to lovers arc, which are fine, but THIS one with U is just like, pure mutual hatred that we can choose to hold on to, and I can't get enough of it
As much as they are my favourite character to hate, and I wanna snap their bones like pretzels, and I went to church today just to pray on their downfall, etcetera etcetera, I'm also really invested in The Drama™, you know? Like, I wanna pick their brain. I'm in a lab coat and taking notes while they're tied down on the psych ward table. I'm putting them in a jar and shaking them. I'm analyzing their shitty true crime documentary on Netflix. THATS the vibe (Π€ΟΠ€)
